Death

Death come to us all, in many shapes and forms, sometimes expected and sometimes not. It can be both a time of grieving and of celebration, for through Jesus and his suffering on the cross, we have everlasting life through death.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"- which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 11:17).

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? (Psalm 22).
